Season 3 opens with Tessa returning to her mother's apartment to find George there, along with yet another good-bye note from Mom. George admits that Chatswin was a mistake and proposes that the two move back to the city.
They needed this transition episode to get them back to normal, their normal, and allow the other characters to reestablish their individual weirdness.
Clever and warm in some areas, overly broad and stupid in others, on occasion capable of balancing everything just right for a strong episode, but consistently inconsistent as a whole.
