She is also second in command of Area 5, of which Eric is sheriff.She is extremely devoted to Eric and is jealous of his time and other relationships, although theirs has not been sexual for decades. She is particularly annoyed by Sookie Stackhouse and does not understand Eric's fascination with her.Pam is blunt, rude, caustic, calculating, and occasionally very funny. She is most concerned with her own well-being and that of Eric, and doesn't care much about anything else. Despite her devotion to Eric, she is not particularly devoted to her work and he calls her lazy and disobedient.She believes that vampires are superior to humans, but she is not yet a maker. She dresses like the former prostitute she was, but with high end fashion flair.Background: Pam was born in 1871 to a London businessman. She was a madam at the Comstock Brothel in San Francisco in 1905 where she first encountered Eric and also Bill Compton and his maker, Lorena. Pam manipulated Eric into turning her. She is bisexual.
