Stacey Pearson is a doctoral student at Northeastern University's Doctor of Law and Policy program, researching child abduction homicide and filicide. She is a retired law enforcement professional with extensive experience in complex missing and exploited children investigations. In July 2018, after a distinguished 20-year career, she retired from the Louisiana State Police where she most recently served as the Manager of the Louisiana Clearinghouse for Missing and Exploited Children, the Coordinator of the Louisiana AMBER Alert Program, and as a field office supervisor in the Special Victims Unit, conducting crimes against children investigations. Stacey lends her public safety expertise to individuals and child-serving organizations through her company, Espoir Consulting. Espoir is the French word for "hope," and it is Espoir Consulting's mission to provide hope for families and loved ones by empowering child safety advocates through education. Stacey is a subject matter expert on the issues of missing, abducted, and exploited children. She also provides technical advice to authors, novelists, and television and film producers. Show less «
