The 11th season revolves around a different comedy. Now, Martin Short talks about the Toronto comedy scene of the 1970s. Marten laughs on demand as he decides to take Jerry around Los Angeles in a 1983 Mercedes wagon in order to engage in new rhetoric.
The show really does capture stars without their costumes and makeup. Yes, they're still performing - always. But with a companion as genial as Jerry, they unwind, lower their guard and share a little.
The show continues to be beautifully shot and edited, and full of interesting anecdotes for fans both of comedy and of Seinfeld himself, although the quality of each episode largely hangs on whether or not you're interested in the guest.
