The movie follows the exploits of Garfield (Bill Murray), the large, lazy and wisecracking cat owned by hapless Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer). When Jon's second pet, a dog named Odie, is abducted, it is up to Garfield, to find and rescue the canine.
