Tom Foss is a Madacorp security agent who decided to kill off hissupervisor rather then obey the order to 'terminate' experimental subject Kyle. Tom finds Kyle with the Tragers, pretends to be a private security firm agent and installs secret cameras inside, so he can keep a watchfull eye on the wonder boy, who for long alone later with te Tragers, thinks Tom is a danger, but later finds out the truth, including his guilt over a car accident which killed Tom's own family. Tom then becomes both Kyle's guardian angel and his extraordinary powers-trainer, only to step back after proving himself brave and unselfish enough to get caught rather then leave Kyle at risk during a Madacorp raid he mounted with Declan. After Adam's appearance, Tom leaves the scene, only reappearing after Kyle has made contact with Brian and his 'Latnoc project-daughter' Jessi.
