Louise is a young woman who has just arrived in New York City from her southern roots in St Louis. She has moved to NYC to get some space from her large family (only to move into a studio apartment with 2 other people) and is on the lookout for true love. After recently being burnt by her former lover Will (who told her he loved her but didn't believe she was 'the one') she still maintains a sassy and positive outlook on the prospect of finding Mr. Right. Louise soon finds herself being employed by Carrie Bradshaw as her personal assistant and strikes up a close friendship with Ms. Bradshaw.
