Kirby is best friend of Jill Roberts. She is an extensive horror fan and is a member of the school's Cinema Club. She has a romantic interest in Charlie Walker, fellow horror fanatic and student of Woodsboro High. While being pursued by Ghostface- she manages to lock herself in her basement. Charlie later comes to the door desperate to get in. Scared for her life, Kirby refuses to let Charlie in as she cannot fully trust him. Charlie is then attacked by Ghostface and tied to a chair in a way reminiscent of the way Steven Orth was in Scream 1. Kirby is then confronted with questions which will decide Charlie's fate much like the questions Casey Becker was asked to decide Steve's. Kirby answers her question correctly so she leaves the safety of the basement to untie Charlie from the chair. Once untied, Charlie stabs Kirby twice in the gut with butcher knife revealing himself as the second killer,along side with Jill,Kirby's best friend,and Kirby shocked falls to the ground bleeding,but alive.(she may be in Scream 5).
