Cassius
In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar , it is Cassius who, out of envy, instigates the plot to kill Julius Caesar. He is practical but highly emotional, and somewhat unethical; it is strongly implied later on in the play that he has been taking bribes during the war between Marc Antony's forces and those of Brutus and Cassius.
