Is a father of two and lost wife about six months ago he use to be a great adventurer but he needs to stay home with his kids and he is starting to lose touch with his son and can't even connect with him because he doesn't talk to him. When his son gets expelled from school he wants to make a fresh start so they start looking for a new house to buy and then his daughter comes across the perfect house in the book its great the only problem is it's a zoo. But his daughter loves it and couldn't be happier so they decide to move in and get the zoo ready to reopen everyone who tends to the zoo thinks he is going to give up on it and then all the animals will be sold. He works hard to get it ready for the inspector and hopefully open in time. with the help from his kids and his brother who finally comes around they think that they have it all great then they hit a rough patch when he runs out of money and everyone gets worried then when Benjamin is wearing the sweater that his wife always use to wear he comes across a safe deposit with a whole lot of money in it and saves the zoo. a few days before the zoo is about to open it start pouring and according to the news it is going to be the rainiest summer in 100 years thinking no one is even going to show up the day of opening they all wake up and it is sunny and warm.
