Alexandra Alex Mack is the main protagonist of The Secret World of Alex Mack. In the first season of the show, she is contaminated with a mysterious chemical substance that gives her the power to move objects with her mind (telekinesis), zap bolts of electricity from her fingers and melt into a clear Jell-O like substance (morphing). Though her powers are cool and an advantage at times, Alex has to keep them a secret from everyone except her older sister and her best friend, because the town chemical plant wants to find her and do tests on her.Alex is often lazy, immature, whiny and self-centered, but as the series goes on, she becomes a better person through her experiences.
