Though Holland made her on-screen debut in 2001 in the film Ordinary Madness (2001), she became known for her role as Kaitlin Cooper, the younger sister of Marissa Cooper on The O.C. (2003). In 2008, she landed a recurring role on Gossip Girl (2007) as Agnes Andrews, and at the same time, appeared in movies such as Garden Party, Middle of Nowhere, Genova (2008) and Legion.
