Born December 27 in Upper Dublin a suburb of Philadelphia in Pennsylvania on her parent's wedding anniversary to Janet and Steven Rosen. Her mother of Russian descent was a school teacher for gifted and talented elementary children and then went on to become a computer sales chief for General Electric after getting a bachelors and masters degree in Education from the prestigious Ivy League University of Pennsylvania on an academic scholarship, and an MBA from Temple University. Her mother who was one of four children who lost her father at a young age from cancer came from a long line of artists including a world renown Brazilian painter cousin Clara Pechansky and her sister (Stacey's aunt) Paula Goldstein who is an Emmy Award winning animator and motion graphic artist in Los Angeles at Disney Feature Films (credits include Disney's Frozen, Moana, Big Hero 6, Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, The Wild and many more). Her father of Russian, Austrian and Hungarian descent grew up very poor and learning about business at a very young age helping run his immigrant parents' small candy and sundries store in historic old Philadelphia. He then earned a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree from Villanova University and an MBA from Temple University. He started his legal career as a general counsel and then went on to become President of a check printing division of a publicly traded company, Safeguard Scientifics. Later her father turned to entrepreneurship and is a board member and part owner of international franchise reseller, FranNet.Stacey has one sister, an attorney, who owns and runs a territory of FranNet in Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia. Before her acting career took flight, Stacey graduated with a business undergraduate degree at The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and earned a Certified Public Accountancy "CPA" license in New York State while working in her first job on Wall Street at JPMorgan. She was constantly being exposed to creative peers and watching films made while living in Greenwich Village out of college. During that time she worked as a Principal on a Reality Dating Show called Perfect Partner - Washington D.C./Georgetown location. When her mother developed stage 4 cancer in 2005, miraculously still in remission and thriving, and after Stacey achieved success in business, she took her leap and resigned her senior position at an Investment Advisory firm, and started her own real estate/construction recruiting business. She returned to television when first being recruited to be a part time skin care model on QVC television. As casting continued to call for television, music videos and commercial roles in New York, she continued to get more opportunities to develop her acting skills and learn the language and process of film/TV production. Her first film was a comedy feature film about Emily Dickinson starring Molly Shannon and directed by Madeleine Olnek, a period piece set in Victorian Times. This led to some work on another period feature film about the life of P.T. Barnum and his circus in the 1800s "The Greatest Showman" produced and starring Hugh Jackman with release date Christmas 2017.As a kid and when her aunt Paula worked as a graphic designer for the Today Show, Nightly News, and Barcelona Olympics, Stacey would sneak in and watch live rehearsals of Saturday Night Live on the same floor as her aunt's then workplace. Now it has been an absolute thrill years later for Stacey to work as a recurring background artist on the very same live tape set where so many musical, acting and comedic legends have taken flight. She also is working on developing and writing a few television programs with a combined creative team in NYC and Philadelphia.
