Shilpi Marwaha is an Indian theatre practitioner and cinema actor. She is a theatre activist, and has acted in & directed many stage drama productions. She is also known for her social activism through street plays. Shilpi started her career as a theatre actor in her college days & never looked back since then. She has been practicing theatre for more than a decade now & proved her metal as an actor, writer and director. Her theatre is socio-political in nature & so is her direction, which aims at creating awareness & change in the society. She has hundreds of plays as an actor & more than two dozens plays to her credit as director. She is known for her minimalistic style and portrayal of human emotions & situations raw & realistically on stage. She is founder of Sukhmanch Theatre Group & has also worked with Oscar winning director Ross Kaufman, National Award winning director T. V.
