Paya Lisette (pronounced Pay-Yah) was born on August 30, 1981 in Freeport, NY and grew up in Jamaica, Queens. She is the oldest of 3 girls. After relocating to Charlotte, NC in 2007, she became a wife and is now the mother of two girls and a boy. Paya is currently an independent Gospel recording artist and actress.
