Paul began his television career playing a male prostitute on NBC's hit crime drama "Homicide: Life on the Street." His parents immigrated to America from Romania in the 70's determined to start a family in the new world. Born in Fairfax, Virginia - he grew up in the suburbs of Washington D.C., and on an academic scholarship from The World Bank spent three years at a boarding school in England where he began to study acting. Paul attended Sarah Lawrence College on a partial acting scholarship and after extensive auditions, was accepted at the prestigious British American Drama Academy in London where he spent his junior year. During his stay, he performed in two plays in London's West End theater district - including "Tales From Vienna Woods" with classmate Orlando Bloom. Shortly after graduating, Playwright Horizon's artistic director Bob Moss cast him as a Lithuanian freedom fighter in his production of Wendy Wasserstein's "The Sisters Rosensweig" off-Broadway. His extensive theater credits include "Hamlet" with The Royal Shakespeare Company at The Kennedy Center and David Hare's "Skylight" at The Studio Theater in Washington DC. Since moving to Los Angeles, Paul has enjoyed continued success in film and television. Most recently he was seen stuck between Teri Hatcher's legs on an episode of ABC's breakout hit Desperate Housewives. His recent television credits include a series regular role playing a publicist in the pilot "Tinseltown" directed by Barbershop's writer/producer Mark Brown. Currently he can be seen in the award winning short film "Romancing the Phone", and a national Volkswagen Jetta commercial directed by Cannes Lionnes D'ors winning director Nick Lewin. Show less «
