Matthew Collins was born on August 22, 1974, in Lansing, Michigan to Stanley and Brenda Collins. He participated in acting throughout his childhood and 1 week after graduating high school in 1992, he moved out to Los Angeles, CA. This proved to be a very challenging and competitive experience for him, and he decided to move back to Michigan and go to college. Matthew later moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 2001 where he received his Bachelors & later a Masters degree. He never gave up on his acting, but rather figured it would come back to him when the time was right... Well he was right, acting did come back to him in due time and he has since worked on feature films and hit television shows. The most recent was his role on The Three Stooges (set to release 2012) as a Policeman, where he became eligible to join the Screen Actors Guild.
