Lee Navlen always had a big mouth, full of opinions and as others will tell you, full of himself. As a hard partying teen growing up on the streets of Livingston, New Jersey, he regularly made the trek into NYC to check out the local comedy clubs where he fell in love with the craft, even lying about his age to get on stage.After graduating from college, Navlen did his best to keep comedy close to his heart but for reasons that never seemed to make sense to him, it was hard news networks that hired him. The immature Navlen eventually landed at Fox News as a Sr. Producer overseeing the news department's most challenging assignments. After leaving Fox News, a decade later, Navlen returned to the stand-up stage full time, becoming a club regular throughout New York City.His no holds barred act that some have have compared to a heavy metal concert without instruments or topless audience goers (so far) mixes current events, politics and true stories about his career and at times dysfunctional but loving family. He's a true original comic who refuses to play by the rules.When not on stage, Navlen has acted in films usually cast as the angry Irish dad, angry Irish cop or angry Irish drunk. Sometimes, all three at once! He's also played an an angry Jewish lawyer in in the Web-Series Goodstein.Navlen also dabbled in New Jersey Politics, even running for office in hopes of meeting some real life gangsters. Sadly, none would have anything to do with him. He did meet Governor Chris Christie during his campaign, telling the governor that they had attended the same NJ High School. Show less «
