Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Kathryn Dickerson got her start in front of the camera at the young age of 18 months. For four years she enjoyed working with Atlanta's Young Faces participating in various print/commercial jobs for retail stores. Kathryn's creative expression became evident soon after the age of 5 and she enjoyed years of competitive ice skating, competitive jazz dance teams as well as enjoyed learning how to play the violin and a couple of other musical instruments. After deciding to expand her horizons, Kathryn decided to enroll in a production class and to try out for the High School spring musical of which she landed a significant role. Kathryn quickly connected with the director and actors in the theatre department where she has continued to enjoy several lead and supporting roles in musical theatre shows and plays throughout her High School career. Summer before Kathryn's senior year, her year long dream and aspiration came true as she was accepted into the summer program for acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in LA, California. Soon after this training, she signed with a leading Atlanta talent agency, Houghton Talent, where she is pursuing her work with film, commercial, print and some modeling jobs. Kathryn plans to continue working closely with her agency while attending a local university. Kathryn has since enjoyed personal coaching sessions with LA Acting Coach, Crystal Carson and attends award winning workshops with top trainers in the Atlanta area while continuing to pursue her love for film and acting.
