Kareem Malcolm was born in Savanna-la-Mar, Jamaica on March 25, 1989. At the age of 5 he and his brother moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with their mother and spent most of his life living in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). Kareem was drawn to sports early on and ended up playing highly competitive basketball from 7th grade throughout University. After being recruited to play basketball for Sheridan College and the University of Guelph, Kareem graduated with a Business Administration Diploma and a Sociology Degree.When he graduated in 2016, Kareem decided to move to Vancouver, British Columbia for a change of scenery. His brother had already made the move after their mother passed away in 2005. Kareem worked in finance full time for his first year in Vancouver, then decided to pursue acting as it has always drawn his interest since drama class in high school. A few commercials later Kareem decided to study the art of acting as the passion and desire to succeed that allowed him to be a captain and leader on many winning basketball teams had come back with this newly discovered love for the art. In May of 2018 Kareem started auditioning for TV and movie roles, his early bookings include TV shows Supergirl (2015- ) and The Good Doctor (2017- ).
