Jenny Marlowe was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. She spent her childhood between nearby Merion, PA and the village of Woods Hole, Massachusetts -- a small seaside community on Cape Cod, which she considers home. She attended high school in Philadelphia, then continued on to Princeton University, where she earned a degree in English and a certificate in Theater & Dance.While still in college, she spent several years working with French director Florent Masse as a principal actor with his French-language theater group L'Atelier (now known as L'Avant-Scene). With L'Atelier, she traveled to Paris to study with the actors of the Comedie Francaise and the faculty of the French National Academy of Dramatic Arts (CNSAD).She then spent several years on the road, writing, taking photos and doing odd-jobs in a series of five different U.S. states and three different countries over the course of four years. She finally landed in London to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, coming away with a Master's degree in Text & Performance and a specialist certificate in Shakespeare. She remained in the UK for several years, appearing in a variety of stage and screen productions and touring with her award-winning solo piece, 'Words, Words, Words!'Since moving to Hollywood in 2012, she has been active as both an actor and a stunt performer. She won Best Supporting Actress for the 2012 season at Theatre Palisades, in West L.A., for her role as Costanza in Matthew Barber's 'Enchanted April'. She trains with the west coast branch of the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, and also studies with stunt-woman Bevin Kaye and acclaimed Sword Masters Dan Speaker and Jan Bryant in martial arts, stage combat, and historical weapons.Jenny currently lives in West Hollywood with her cat, willie nelson.
