Izabella Alvarez is no ordinary kid. Instead of navigating the halls of junior high like her neighborhood friends, you are more likely to find her on a film set in Hollywood working with some of the biggest names in show business. Due to her demanding audition schedule, she's home-schooled. She hails from Orange County, California and is of Hispanic Heritage.Izabella caught the acting bug early on in her young life and started performing professionally when she was only six-years-old. Originally, it was her father who landed a national Walmart commercial; however, the casting director wanted a real-life family and asked if the Alvarez clan would participate. Collectively, they agreed and the shoot included not only her father but mother and brother Nick Alvarez, also a working actor. It was on the set of that Walmart commercial that Izabella realized her passion for acting and knew what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. With the help, guidance and approval of her parents she got an agent and has since shot over half a dozen national commercials for Honda, McDonald's, Hidden Valley Ranch, Kid Cuisine, and Ashford University, to name a few.Izabella has also worked on several television shows, including Season 4 of Showtime's hit series "Shameless," as well as "Teachers," a new comedy on TVLand and "Westworld," slated to air on HBO in 2016. Her role on "Westworld" led Izabella to work with prestigious actors, including Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood and Clifton Collins Jr. who plays her father, as well as top producers and writers."It is a privilege to be a part of this new project created/produced by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, and produced by J.J. Abrams, Jerry Weintraub and Bryan Burk" said Izabella. "The cast is amazing, and it is going to be a great show!"While it was great working on "Westworld," one of her proudest roles to date was her recurring character on "Shameless.""It was an honor and also a lot of fun working with Joan Cusack and William H. Macy. I learned so much from them, and they were both very kind to me on and off the camera," said Izabella. Her first feature film as a lead character in "Collisions" is expected to be released in late 2017. Izabella plays "Itan" and performs opposite actor, Jesse Garcia who plays her estranged uncle, and her missing mother played by actress, Ana de la Reguera."This was the toughest role I've ever done, but I loved every minute of it. We truly became a family while filming and have a deep respect for each other. I'll never forget this experience", said Izabella. Most recently, Izabella has joined Walt Disney Pictures' "Magic Camp" family starring Jeffery Tambor, Gillian Jacobs and Adam Devine which is slated for 2017.Lastly, she is a recurring character on Disney Channel's "Walk the Prank" playing the role of Anna.Along with her fellow acting friends, Izabella has recently created the #TeamYoungActorsCare organization. Through film, media and charity work, they hope to reach the masses and make a positive impact in the world. #TeamYoungActorsCare promotes the message that young people can make a big difference by working together and helping others in need. Izabella participates in various charity events throughout Southern California, most recently St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer. You can follow her on Instagram @officializabellaalvarez ; Twitter @IzabellaAlvarez ; Facebook: Izabella Alvarez ; Snapchat: IzabellAlvarez
