Greg Yoder was born in Los Angeles but raised most of his youth in the small town of Burrton, Kansas. Discovering his passion for acting at an early age, Greg became well known in the local theater community. In addition with his love of music, Greg competed in many state competitions throughout high school winning multiple awards in vocal performance and dramatic acting. In 1996 he chose to pursue music in college but dropped out a year and a half later. After a number of years trying to find a career outside the arts, Greg's old high school drama teacher contacted him about an independent film coming to Kansas for production and convinced him to audition. Greg landed the lead role and quickly found himself back in the acting world. He began appearing in regional commercials, award winning film shorts and stage productions all while attending Wichita State University's School of Performing Arts and in 2009 graduated with honors earning a BFA in performance drama. In 2011, Greg moved to California to continue his career and immediately began additional training with The Groundlings and Scott Sedita Studios in Hollywood. Greg has since appeared on several hit shows, films and multiple stage productions throughout Los Angeles. He can also be seen on the YouTube series "da bad boyz" EPIC MINIs as Tank the security guard. This series of short musical films shot in slow motion was co-created by Greg and explores the momentary comedic adventures of fictional armed security guards who creatively handle random daily situations.
