Geraldine Smith, a native New Yorker, was discovered by Paul Morrissey and Andy Warhol at the age of 16, in Max's Kansas City. After starring opposite Joe Dallesandro in Flesh (1968), she turned down the film Trash (1970), disapproving of the title. A wonderful character actress, who has been underused commercially, she now studies psychology and is currently an alcohol and substance abuse counselor. A former Warhol superstar, Geri considers herself to be a Warhol survivor. Busy with studies, she is now working on a memoir in screenplay form, while acting occasionally. Show less «
