Enku Gubaie is an actress and producer who has developed a strong acting background in both drama and comedy productions. Enku's first leading role in a feature film was in "A Child's Dream" where she played Valerie, a single but strong mother who faces challenges while trying to protect her son's future. Since then, Enku has been cast in numerous films and web series productions, where she plays a variety of different characters.Some examples of Enku's work includes the romantic drama "Late" where she plays Ellen, a divorcée looking for love. In the mystery/drama "Find Me" Enku plays Taryn, a young detective who is working on a kidnapping case. We got to see a different side of Enku in the drama/thriller "Home Lies" where she plays the role of Sarah, a woman held captive in her own home by a burglar looking for a safe.Enku has ventured into her love for science fiction with two short films. The first is in the Afrofuturistic short story called "Songs of Silt" where Enku plays the role of Tewaa, the wife of a government employee, who is trying to learn more about the stories her mother told her about another planet. And then most recently in "The Cyborg" (more info TBA).Comedy is something that Enku has always loved. In the drama/comedy short "Coffee Talk" Enku plays the role of Melonie, the warm and bubbly girl who offers dating advice to her best-friend. For the past two seasons, Enku has played Jennifer, the sweet roommate in the comedic web series "Online Dating". And most recently as Billy, the flirtatious and stylish best-friend from the south, in the "Over Easy Courthouse Café".Starting in the Fall of 2016, Enku has begun serving as Producer on several short films.
