It didn't take long before Kidd also began earning roles in film and television, including Top Cops (1992), The Hidden Room (1993) (alongside Daphne Zuniga), Forever Knight (1995), and Kung Fu: The Legend Continues (1995), starring the legendary David Carradine.Recently, Kidd had a recurring role as an FBI Agent in the television series The Art of More (2015), which also features Dennis Quaid, Cary Elwes, Kate Bosworth and Christian Cooke, and played a police officer in the thriller Awakening the Zodiac (2017), whose cast includes Leslie Bibb, Shane West and Stephen McHattie.
