Christina was born in Tarzana, California. She resided with her parents across the street from the Jackson 5, on Hayvenhurst in Encino. Her mother was a Mexican socialite and her father a musician and carpenter. Christina was sent to live overseas and lived in Mexico for a brief time with her two younger brothers. While in Mexico, she attended a Catholic school where she learned ballroom, Greek, Spanish, Mexican folkloric dance and drama.Christina studied modern dance and theater at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. Later on, she enrolled at Scottsdale Community College to learn film production and photography. She studied the Meisner Technique with award winning actor and Meisner professor David Barker. She was the founder of the Phoenix chapter Group 101 films, one of the first and largest short film collectives based out of Los Angeles.After working in Phoenix on a few independent film projects and in local theater, Christina's entrepreneurial drive led her to return to Los Angeles full time to start an online fashion business called VivaLuxury.com. She worked long hours while maintaining auditions. After the site grossed half a million per quarter, she decided to sell and close the business to focus on acting.While pursuing acting, Christina discovered and revisited the healing arts. Her continued pursuit to heal a knee injury and trauma took her on a personal spiritual journey. She studied yoga, spirituality, massage therapy, cranial sacral, chanting, Sanskrit, and aromatherapy. She practiced massage therapy and worked on several celebrities including Common, Sean Paul, Little Richard, actress Heather Graham, art director Eugenio Caballero, fashion designer Domenico Vacca, and many others.A year and a half later, Christina found herself working as a freelance writer and public relations agent. As a pr, she's worked with the American Film Festival, the Phoenix Film Festival, New York Fashion Week, the Taste Awards, and on a few independent film & TV projects. She founded a boutique pr agency called Ro & Nast PR, which represents companies in film, TV, philanthropy, fine art, and fashion. The company also produces special events. As a writer and expert, she has been mentioned and seen in the Wall Street Journal, Wall Street Journal Asia, Fusion TV, Telemundo 52, Examiner Fashion, AZ Republic's Style Section, Hollywood Weekly, Esquire Latino, Fox News Latino, KCAL9 CBS, Lucky Magazine, and Empowher.com. She writes for several publications including Latin Heat.com which cover Latinos in Hollywood. Christina is also the founder of her own publications called Love Haute Style Daily and Fosoma Magazine.Her influences include Pedro Almodovar, David Lynch, Lars Von Trier, Robert Rodriguez, Quentin Tarantino, Alejandro Innaritu, Alfonso Cuaron, Maya Deren and Jane Campion. Christina has created an inventory of work which includes, a one woman show called, "The Tell Tales of a Grexican." She has completed a script based on the life of Maria Montessori and is working on her second script based on the tumultuous life of her stepfather, Pastor Victor Pena.
