Chandra Ryder is quick to laugh until it's time to get down to business, and you should only ask her advice if you're ready to hear the truth.Instead of going to college, Chandra volunteered full-time for her church. She taught herself how to edit short video's for KIDstuf -- a weekly live show dubbed "SNL for Families" -- during the show's four-year 160 episode run Chandra unlocked her talent for production while producing and editing all weekly video content, acting regularly, writing, and performing other producing duties. In 2011 Chandra formed Girl Power Productions and joined with KIDstuf alum Michael Rotchadl to produce The Ave -- an eight-part stoner web series -- which premiered on Blip.TV, and won the Accolade Award of Merit for the Pilot episode. Since The Ave Chandra has written, produced, and edited several short films, including Chinese Takeout for One -- a selected finalist -- in the Seattle Times's 3 Minute Challenge.A native to Southern California, Chandra currently lives near Seattle, WA, with her wife Sarah, and is developing several new web series and TV pilots. When not working, Chandra expands her creativity through deconstructing Pinterest home projects and recipes, entertaining friends, and trying to convince Sarah they really need a dog. Show less «
