Candace C. Edwards is from Country Club Hills, IL, which is twenty minutes outside of Chicago. She has been performing since childhood and made a career out of her talents. She graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism/TV. After a brief stint, of working in the newsroom for live news broadcasts, she wanted to set her sights on something different. She could always sing, but she wasn't sure how to go forth and pursue it. She started auditioning at various casting calls and started to get noticed, and eventually cast in with Black Ensemble Theater in Chicago. Candace has worked with this company and numerous others such as Congo Square, and the prestigious Goodman Theater, where she performed in Crowns. She got her first TV spot on BOSS alongside Kelsey Grammer and Sanaa Lathan playing Lathan's assistant in 2012, and hasn't looked back since.
