Byron Browne was born in Camden, New Jersey in 1970. His father, Byron Browne Sr., played Major League Baseball for 8 years with the Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals and Philadelphia Phillies from 1965-1980. His mother, Chiquita Browne, was a top fashion model in the late 70s and early 80s. She was represented by Wilhelamina Talent Agency and Ford models in New York City and at times was roommates with Iman and Beverly Johnson. They were all featured in Ebony Magazine as top models of the future. Has a son named Merek.Browne attended Central H.S. in St. Joseph, Missouri and was drafted in the 13th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1991 as a Starting Pitcher. He played professionally for 9 seasons in the Brewers farm system. His career highlight was getting called up to the Big Leagues in 1994 from the AA champions El Paso Diablos to go immediately on strike during the 1994 MLB season which was canceled after failed negotiations between the Players Union and Owners. He was sent back to the minors after the strike was over in 1995. He was the number two pitching prospect in the organization for the next two seasons and won 10 games in almost every season he pitched in and a career E.R.A of 4.02. He was invited to Spring Training with the Big Club for three years. His career ended in 2000 after two surgeries to his pitching arm.In the fall of 1996 he started his acting career with unaccredited roles in "Robin Cook's Invasion", an NBC miniseries which starred Luke Perry, Rebecca Gayheart, Roslie DeSoto and Kim Cattrall; and Brett Michaels film No Code of Conduct (1998) which starred Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen, as the Nightclub VIP junkie. For television he was cast as a student for AMC's Tribute to The Three Stooges (1999) in which Leslie Nielsen, Carrot Top and Anna Nicole Smith hosted the show. He has done numerous commercials in Phoenix and two national jobs including singing the Olympic Powerbar Anthem with members of the Olympic team in 2000 and striking out to Cy Young Award winner Randy Johnson in Bank One Ballpark in 2001 for an Arizona Diamondbacks commercial. He is with Danis Agency in Phoenix Arizona and is signed with McCarty Talent and Baron Entertainment in Los Angeles and with Lange Talent Agency in Las Vegas. He also does print work for modeling and has been featured in many films in the Arizona market. Browne receives on camera training at Entertainment Alley a film school in Scottsdale, Arizona, owned by Arizona's Casting Director Sunny Siebel, studies scene study and technique under Marla Finn and sense memory with the late Peter Stelzer. Byron has received intensive Scene Study Class at Matlin Studios in Glendale, Arizona. Worked on the Meisner Technique and the Samuel French Play The Killdeer written by Jay Broad, where Byron plays the character Ted Snyder under Linda Waymire and Mathew Dearing who are products under the great instructor and acting coach Larry Moss.Byron has just been cast in his third national commercial with Derek Jeter and Harvey Keitel for Gatorade. Byron played Derek Jeter's body double. Byron also wrote two screenplays (a Gritty Cop story) to be on Imdb soon and Horror flick Thorns from a Rose. Byron also created A 22Seventeen Production with his business partner Derek Martin to create and make independent film happen in Arizona.
