Miller has been the play-by-play voice of the Los Angeles Kings (NHL) since 1973. Miller received his degree at the University of Iowa, where he started his broadcasting career doing Hawkeye football and basketball games. His first professional job came in 1960 in news and sports at WITI-TV in Milwaukee. In 1964, Miller moved to Madison, WI as sports director at WMTV and joined WKOW-TV and radio in 1966. He was WKOW's voice of University of Wisconsin football, basketball and hockey. He later broadcast University of Wisconsin hockey on WIBA. Prior to working for the Kings, Miller worked in a number of Miller's voice has been heard on numerous TV shows and movies, including "Rollerball," "Miracle on Ice" and the Disney Films "The Mighty Ducks" and the "The Mighty Ducks 2."
