Anthony Welch is an American Actor, born and raised in NYC. Theater trained at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute in New York City, Anthony has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway plays and other theater and film productions and projects. Anthony lived in Los Angeles from 1990-1995, where he appeared in The Jones Boy at The Third Street Theater, for which he won a L.A. Drama-Logue Critics Award for Best Ensemble Performance as The Trick. Anthony also appeared in the Cult Film Classic, "Life Among The Cannibals", where he played Detective Charlie alongside Kieran Mulroney. Anthony left the industry for 17 years to have and raise a family, which accounts for the gap in his work. However, Anthony has returned to an industry he has always loved and recently Co-Produced and Co-Starred in a pilot for an original series titled "20 To Life", where he plays NYPD Detective Bobby Cassera. Anthony is also scheduled to appear in the Netflix feature film Bensonhurst, as Lou the cop and in a series written and developed by Anthony titled Street Smart as retired NYPD Detective Joey McGloin. Anthony was cast in the Martin Scorsese film, The Irishman, as a Prison Guard that personally escorts Jimmy Hoffa, (Played by Al Pacino) out of the prison upon his release.
