Alysia Livingston is a joyful and passionate actress who loves to play-pretend. Livingston's love for playtime was affirmed when she became the recipient of the prestigious Baker Duncan scholarship, awarded to exceptional talent in drama at Trinity University. During her first semester Livingston won the part of Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. It was a revelatory experience and it became undeniable that her purpose was to give to the world through the shared experience of story. In 2009, Livingston was invited to study at NYU: Tisch School of the Arts. After spending time in both New York and Los Angeles she decided to plant roots in L.A., where she currently resides.Her talent has been recognized by industry leading casting directors and established actors including Tracy "Twinkie" Byrd, Karen Horne, Omari Hardwicke, Naturi Naughton and Erica Hubbard. She was one of three women selected as a finalist out of over 1,500 submissions for the 2015 NBC Star Project and named a winner of the 2012 Monologue competition at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. As an emerging artist Livingston has been seen in several festival award winning short films, a national Sprite commercial, as well as, numerous plays and musical theatre productions.In 2014, Livingston launched Go Storyteller, an online funding campaign benefitting the Young Storytellers Foundation with the mission to make the world a better place through story and provide opportunity to at-risk youth.Devoted to her craft Alysia continues her studies with Diana Castle at The Imagined Life Studio.
