Alan Rorrison is from a small town in Scotland called Port Glasgow. He is the son of John Rorrison ( Boiler engineer) and Evelyne Rorrison ( Shop Assistant) and brother to his two elder sisters Karen and Claire.He went to Boglestone Primary school and later Port Glasgow high school for his education before moving on into the works force. His first job upon leaving school was an apprentice welder in Ferguson Ship yard. After this he moved on to nursing where he stayed until he became a professional magician.Magic is a hobby Alan has had since the age of 9. During his education he hide the fact that he done magic has it was still a considered " uncool". As magic became more mainstream he started to show off his talent a little more with some one man shows in his local area.After gaining himself a strong fan base in magic he started to release a few of his own ideas to critical acclaim. This lead to to him being a consultant and prop builder for a few stages shows in his local area.After a few years working on various stage productions Alan was approached by a T.V. production company to move on to there team and help on a magic show that they where producing. This is when Alan happily became a member of the Dynamo team.Since then Alan Has also worked with Troy and also appeared himself on a few T.V Shows.He is also author of 12 Books and 23 DVDS on the art of magic.
